Bluefish
The Bluefish is identified by its greenish-blue and silver color. It's a long but sturdy fish with characteristic dorsal fins. The many large, and very sharp teeth of the bluefish can, and often do, injure the careless angler, especially after the fish is landed. Bluefish may be found alone or in schools. They are often found feeding on a school of smaller fish. They are agressive eaters and will take bait and lures quickly when feeding. They are strong swimmers and provide a long fight. Most bluefish are seen at 2-5 pounds but they do grow to over 20 pounds.
